Scope & review
Discovery finds everything related to your seeds — including assets you don't own, never owned, or no longer care about. Scope is how you tell Vulmon Recon which is which.
Newly discovered assets arrive as scope pending. Vulmon Recon checks each one once — its open ports, services, technologies, certificates and web page — so you have evidence for the decision. From there you mark each one in scope (yours, keep it exposed and monitor it), out of scope (yours, but it should not be exposed: close it), or a false positive (not your asset); IP addresses can also be marked as a rotating dynamic IP that isn't worth tracking individually.
Only in-scope assets are scanned continuously, alerted on, and counted against your plan's asset limit — so scope is both a noise control and the thing your bill follows. It is not a filing decision: you can document any discovered asset, whatever its scope and including ones still awaiting review.
